Cake boxes, made with lightweight cardboard, have a top that will fold to cover up what is in the box. During transporting of baked goods, these help keep the food from getting smashed or damaged. A wide variety is available which include many colors and many sizes. Other shapes are available also. They can hold donuts and many other products.
The boxes are not designed to be airtight. Whatever is put in them will need to either be eaten within a short period of time or put in another container that will keep them fresh. They are normally used when there is a large quantity of baked goods or for decorated cakes for birthdays or many other types. To clean up effectively after these occasions, the use of paper towel dispensers is needed.
Designs and lettering can be custom printed onto these boxes. Not all box supply companies have this option available though. Certain sizes and shapes can be special ordered or you can get them in a standard size.
These are wonderful for serving foods during a dinner for a special event. Since they are inexpensive, they can be thrown away. It will make it easier not having to look for a tray to serve the food on. You do not have anything to wash up when cleaning up either.
The box can be labeled. This is nice so that everybody knows what is in each box and they do not have to fumble through every box to get what they are looking for. This is a huge help when there is a lot of different foods available in the same box. They can be distributed in these boxes with the sell by date and a price printed on them also.
Small Businesses Should Consider
a Tension Fabric Display for a Trade Show
Companies that are planning to get a small booth space (10 x 20 or smaller) at a trade show have good, new options to consider when choosing a display for their main booth space: the tension fabric display.
While these basic designs essentially a large fabric graphic designed to be attached and to completely cover a lightweight tubular aluminum frame has been around for more than 10 years, it was (until recently) only available in expensive, custom, large-format configurations, fabricated by custom houses that specialized in making fabric displays.
Recent fabric printing and finishing evolutions have enabled vendors to offer fabric trade show displays as cost-effective options for smaller booth spaces. Small business trade show exhibitors that want a different appearance than the traditional pop up display or a modular display may want to consider a tension fabric display for their next show.
Most businesses that are exhibiting (or have a plan to exhibit) in a 10 x 10 or 10 x 20 space will go with a linear trade show display an essential backwall to create a space for graphics. There are many solutions that address this need and booth size.
Banner stands may work in a 10 x 10 space, if the artwork is coordinated and they are aligned well. But the most common 10 x 10 format is the pop up display. Pop ups are popular for good reason they are lightweight, portable and easy to set up.
The pop ups disadvantages are that they may make your company look generic and undistinguished (youll see a lot pop up displays at the show) and there arent many ways to vary the basic concave shape. Companies using a 10 x 20 trade show booth have other options, but the structure will usually be a linear design.
